The PEPSE, the CROUS and CMI of Brest are organising an excursion to the Lac du Drennec, in the Monts d'Arrée, on Saturday 15th June.
At Lac du Drennec we will be able to enjoy the superb scenery of the Finistère countryside, have a stroll around the lake whilst discovering the local flora and fauna before sharing a relaxing picnic. In the afternoon, Claudia Jaimes, a local PhD student, will give a presentation about circular economy which will be followed by a workshop. Then we will walk to a nearby community café called La Route du Lin where we will taste their locally produced drinks and food.
We look forward to spending the day with as many of you as possible. It will be an excellent opportunity to meet fellow researchers and it will give us all a chance to get to know one another better.
